Missions Trip- GLOBAL PRAYER SAFARI 2020 USA - APRIL 16-28

The Global Prayer Safari 2020 is going to be in our area of the USA this year. The GPS Mission is a gathering of Christians from around the world to meet together in an area to pray. To pray "onsite with insight" for the world. Previous GPS have been in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Ethiopia.  Join the team as we journey by bus to pray throughout the NYC, NJ, Maryland, Washington DC and Philadelphia areas to pray. We pray for and with ministry leaders, government officials, business people and everyday citizens in these areas and throughout the world.  The GPS 2020 team leaders are Rev John Algera and Rev Marco Avila from Paterson, NJ. Pastor John is retired pastor from Madison Ave CRC. Pastor Marco is our team leader of Resonate Global Missions. Hellen Hu, Darrell French and Bouwe Leenstra from Goshen Church are planning on attending all or some of the GPS. For more information regarding GPS 2020 there are brochures in the foyer. So speak to Hellen, Derryl or Bouwe who can answer questions and talk about the GPS experience.

SPECIFIC TASKS:  

• Pray together as God’s Church among the people of the USA. Travel from New York City to Washington, D.C., to pray “onsite with insight.”
• Pray onsite at Wall Street, Times Square, the United Nations, 911 Memorial, steps of the US Capitol, Supreme Court, and White House.
• Visit and pray at the Museum of the Bible and the National Museum of African American History.
• Pray with church planters, ministry leaders, teachers, business owners, and many more people.
• Prayer-walk neighborhoods and communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Committed Christian
• Desire to engage in prayer ministry alongside missionaries and local ministry leaders 
• Commitment to pray with others before, during, and after the trip
