November 2021 Faith Promise

Istifanus Bahago (Christian Extension Services – Sierra Leone)

Prayer Request:

Thank God for the success of the ministry in Sierra Leone.
Thank God for all who have supported us in the work here in Sierra Leone.
Pray for the leadership of the CRC SL for wisdom, team work to success in the work, that they will not be discouraged rather is courageous to work.
Pray for my new assignment in Nigeria, for wisdom, faith and support o success. As a new office, that God should help me to do his will.
Pray for the Brethren we are leaving behind in Sierra Leone. There are students, disable who see us as their only hope of survived. Pray that they will not lack and have the faith and depends on God for help.
Pray for the CRC-Nigeria as they elect new leaders to lead the church as Dr. Ahima retires on November 27, God will raise new leaders who will carry on the good leadership he had provided for the past ten years.
Pray for resonate as they make decision on how the work in Sierra Loene will continue, in the new phase of the work after our transition.
Pray for the various units of the church such as the women, youth etc to stand firm and grow, in bringing loss souls to Christ.

Ben & Amy Meyer (Update)

Prayer Requests:

Give thanks for the opportunity we have had to visit our supporting churches from June/October to thank them for their partnership in Mexico and to share a final mission report.
Give thanks for the different schools that are children are able to attend. Pray for Luke, Abe, and Zach as they adjust to new schools. Pray that they can make good friends.
Pray for the ongoing work of missions in Mexico, particularly the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico and the Multiplication Network and its partners.
Give thanks that our belongings have arrived from Mexico, Please pray that our home in Mexico would sell soon.
Pray for Ben as he works with the Multiplication Network’s six global hubs so that more healthy multiplying churches can be planted and strengthened.
Pray for us as a family as we look for a church to get plugged into in Holland, MI.

Ray & Angie De Lange (East-West Ministries Int’l – Lake Forest, WA)

Prayer Requests:

Praise God for His lovingkindness and faithfulness this past year and always.
Please pray with us for those we are discipling and in relationship with, that they would remain faithful to Christ and grow in their walk with Him.
Please pray for Ray and Angie as they travel to London November 28 to share at a conference and discern God’s roles for them with a theological school for our people group that is based there.

Christy & Zach Yoder – (Wycliffe – Nigeria, W. Africa)

Thank God (some of these are direct answers to prayer):

Strategy and technical meetings:
- Zach felt the opening times of corporate prayer kept our hearts centered on God and his leadership
- We heard many encouraging things that God is already doing in the areas of our new strategic focus.
- We had a lot of good ideas for next steps we can take.
Group annual retreat:
- Zach was able to really rest. The speaker's message on Revelation encouraged him a lot.
- That Christy had fresh ideas and and felt energized as she coordinated the children's team.
- The children, left with paper mache globes to remind them that the persecution and growth of the church that started in Acts is still happening around the world today.

Encouraging meetings with others in the body of Christ:
- Nigerian Evangelical Missions Agency (NEMA) North Central Conference in Abuja
  - Zach found himself as a Hausa interpreter!
  - Peter found himself leading the worship team!
- Meetings with other Bible translation organizations in Africa online
  - A strong sense of unity
  - Humility as we each realize we are each a small part of God's mission
- Visit from Zach's boss from Kenya
  - Johnstone has made many encouraging observations of what God is doing
We celebrate another year of life in November for our daughters:
- Daso (16 years)
- Lydia (4 years)

For clear communication and teamwork for Christy and Zach as we present together at another NEMA conference
Healing for our children. They all have coughs.
For deeper relationships and God's guidance as Zach meets with colleagues face to face in Kenya (Dec 5-11)
