For RUF winter training Dec. 5-10. Please pray for encouragement for Andrew as he joins other Campus Ministers and Staff from around the country in Denver for a week of ministry training. Pray for Amanda and the girls as Andrew is away.
For rest for Davidson students and the Goyzueta family over winter break.
For the handful of new students joining Servant Team in the spring. Pray for new friendships and a spirit of unity.

Jan VanStaalduinen (Wycliffe – Dallas, TX)

As the end of another year approaches, I reflect on the past year and praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. The biggest change and highlight of 2021 was my move to North Carolina in July. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been here for five months already. My beautiful home, the wide-open spaces and peaceful surroundings continue to be such a blessing. This fall I enjoyed seeing the corn, soybean and cotton crops being harvested, and I enjoyed the beautiful colors of changing leaves. I also never get tired of the beautiful eastern North Carolina sunrises and sunsets. The beauty of God’s creation is simply amazing! I am thankful for the opportunity to live near my parents and being able to help them out in small ways. It is also fun to be able to celebrate special occasions and holidays with family. In October all 10 of us siblings were together to celebrate my dad’s 89th birthday. I also enjoyed a week of vacation with my 3 sisters while they were here. I’m also thankful that my Wycliffe ministry allows me to work remotely. I appreciate my coordinator who supports me in working remotely and keeps me busy and engaged with various literacy and education projects. I am also grateful for you! I could not be involved in this work of supporting Bible translation without you. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and financial gifts. As we reflect on the past year and celebrate the birth of our Savior, may we experience gratitude, joy and wonder.
