Faith Promise - November 2022

Christy & Zach Yoder (Wycliffe – Nigeria, W. Africa)

Prayer Request:

Thank God (these are in response to prayer points from last month...except the last point)
- Zach and other leaders from around the world had a lot of laughter and some deep thinking and prayer together last week. Zach also got "unstuck" on a number of issues!
- Zach's boss was encouraged as he attended our strategy meetings in October—we are discussing some challenging things with unity!
- For good advice during strategy meetings about the languages that God wants our organization to partner with as they begin language development and Bible Translation.
- For lots of encouraging feedback about the kids program Christy led with over 60 children ages 0-12 (at our group retreat in October)
- For grace in people welcoming Daso to their homes after we got the news that all visa appointments were cancelled indefinitely the week of Daso's visa appointment—not what we asked for, but we trust God in this and see his hand.
Please pray:
- Continue to pray for direction as we consider Zach offering to extend his time as Director by one year to December 2024.
- For real rest for our family while in the US
- For the team to continue the work well while Zach is away with limited capacity to lead for a little over half of the visit.
- For our four little girls as they transition for a few months back to a home far away. We left in December 2020, and they only were back for Josh's funeral in August 2021.
