Faith Promise - December Update

Christy & Zach Yoder (Wycliffe – Nigeria, W. Africa)

Prayer Request:

Thank God (these are in response to prayer points from last month...except the last point)
- Although we neither had deep peace, nor a lack of peace, as we pray and walk, we took a step to commit to Zach offering to extend his time as Director by one year to December 2024.
- For opportunities for our four little girls to spend time with Nana and Papa, with cousins, and new friends as they transition for a few months back to this home far away. For libraries and indoor playgrounds. For snow.
Continued prayer requests (from last month)
- Please keep praying for our four little girls as they transition for a few months back to a home far away. For the team to continue the work well while Zach is away with limited capacity to lead for a little over half of the visit.
- Please keep praying for real rest for our family while in the US
New prayer requests:
- Zach is leading our group in a major proposal called the “Mark Road” to engage many new language communities and start translating the book of Mark. This is very stretching for all of us. Please pray for God’s clear direction and unity. Thank God for the good, but sometimes quite challenging, conversations and deliberations we have had so far.
- Please pray for us to know what God is calling us to in this season, and in each day.

Praise God for the opportunities we have to serve through Pars.
Praise God for helping Ray learn and organize the logistical aspect of his conference work.
Please pray for our involvement at upcoming conferences that Ray mentioned.
Please pray for “Flora,” a woman attending our church who wants to see a sign from God before she commits to Christ.
Please pray for Angie as she meets with her mentees
