Goshen Church would like to welcome Daniel Bryce Kostenbader born healthy on November 2nd, weighing in at 8lbs & 19” long. Congratulations to the new parents, Bryce & Shayna! To help welcome this new little one we’ve placed a table in the narthex to fill with diapers, wipes and other baby items. Welcome little Daniel!

We will be holding a Congregational Meeting on December 11^th at 7pm in the Church Sanctuary. The Council will be putting forth for vote the 2026 Church Budget. Copies of the budget can be found in the back of church for review. Voting will be done via written ballot. Absentee ballots will be accepted until December 11^th. If submitting an absentee ballot, please confirm whether you accept or decline the 2026 Budget projection. Absentee ballots can be dropped in the collection plate during offering or given to any member of Council.

This Friday (December 5^th), the Warwick Valley Chorale will be hosting their 85^th Annual Holiday Concert at 7pm in the Goshen CRC sanctuary. Featuring Benjamin Britten, A Ceremony of Carols with Traditional Hooliday Favorites. Come enjoy an evening of music! 

If you have not yet completed a Faith Promise Pledge Card please prayerfully consider submitting one before end of year. The Council is working hard to determine the amount we will be able to sponsor our Missionaires in the coming year. Additional cards are located in the back of the sanctuary and can be given to a Council member or placed in the offering plate. 

Just over six years ago our congregation rejoiced at the completion of our wonderful new addition! We were able to expand our greeting and entrance areas, replace and relocate our service elevator indoors, expand our children’s ministry area and nursery and add new bathrooms both on our lower level and on our worship level. Praise God! To accomplish these goals one of our funding models has included our Faith Partners program. Faith Partners are a group of dedicated individuals who have generously committed to making an annual $1000.00 donation to our building fund. With the help of our congregation’s generosity, we have reduced the balance of the outstanding debt to around $48,000. If you are not yet a Faith Partner, please consider joining this effort to assist in paying off this debt in just the next two years. If you are already a Faith Partner, then we want to take this opportunity to both

sincerely thank you and to remind you to kindly submit your pledge amount to Henry Vogel or the deacons in the next 8 weeks. Please note that all donations are tax deductible.
